برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير خالد الفيصل، مستشار خادم الحرمين الشريفين، أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة، تنظم جامعة أم القرى ممثلة في شركة وادي مكة للتقنية "الملتقى السعودي للشركات الناشئة" والذي يتضمن مؤتمرًا ومعرضًا وجلسات نقاش بالإضافة إلي عروض قصيرة لأصحاب الشركات الناشئة أمام المستثمرين. نسعى من خلال هذا الملتقي إلى ربط رواد الأعمال وأصحاب الشركات الناشئة بالمستثمرين وصناديق رأس المال الجريء، للحصول على استثمارات تضمن نمو مشاريعهم وتحولها من مشاريع ناشئة إلى مشاريع صغيرة ومتوسطة وكبيرة تساهم بشكل فاعل في دفع عجلة التنمية. ويشارك عدد من متخذي القرار والخبرات والشركات المحلية والعالمية في جلسات الملتقى للمساهمة الفاعلة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بما يتوافق مع توجه المملكة في رؤيتها الطموحة 2030 لدعم الاقتصاد الوطني والمعرفي والريادة المناطقية وتوسيع القاعدة الإنتاجية من خلال ريادة الأعمال وإيجاد بيئة حاضنة للإبداع والابتكار المعرفي والتقني.


Under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, Umm Al-Qura University represented by Wadi Makkah Technology Company, is organizing StartUp Saudi Arabia Forum. The forum will include a conference, an exhibition, and seminars as well as short presentations for investors. The forum will be a networking venue for entrepreneurs, start-up owners, and venture capitalists seeking investments that encourage their initiatives and change them from start-ups into small and medium size projects as a major contribution to development. Decision makers, men of expertise, local and international companies will participate in the forum sessions with a view to achieving sustainable development in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in terms of supporting national knowledge-based economy, regional leadership, expanding the productive base through entrepreneurship and creating a congenial environment for an incubator of knowledge and technological creativity and innovation.
